Zushi Beach Fireworks Festival 2024

The Zushi Beach Fireworks Festival 2024 is held at the beginning of summer in Zushi City, Kanagawa Prefecture. I will share the event schedule and details, as well as things you should know before you go!

About Zushi Beach Fireworks Festival 2024

Zushi Beach Fireworks Festival 2024

The 67th Zushi Beach Fireworks Festival will be held for the first time in four years. Unlike fireworks festivals held in cities, you can enjoy watching fireworks from a spacious beach.

The appeal of this fireworks display lies in the synchronization of the fireworks with the music, creating an exciting live performance experience. Furthermore, the 15-minute finale, which constitutes one-third of the entire event, is a masterpiece.

The nearest station, Zushi Station, is about 50 minutes from Shinagawa Station. However, if your trip to Japan coincides with the fireworks festival, it is worth the journey to Zushi.

Things To Know Before You Go To The Fireworks Festival

The surrounding roads will be closed from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm on the day of the event. Instead of driving, consider walking from Zushi Station to the venue.

There are several restrooms along the beach, but they are expected to be very crowded. Be careful not to drink too much alcohol to avoid spending time waiting in line for the toilet and missing the fireworks.

Additionally, the restrooms may run out of toilet paper, so it's a good idea to bring pocket tissues.

If you are visiting Tokyo this summer, I also recommend this fireworks display!
